September Journal

Okay, let’s shake some things up! 🚀

If you haven’t heard, it’s time for IWP to have a real newsletter! Until now, the IWP newsletter has been a journal of sorts, highlighting everything going on within the project.

The monthly journals will continue, but the newsletter is expanding to be truly different and fill some gaps in the WordPress newsletter space, with a focus on highlighting WordPress product creators. As a WordPress agency owner and someone who’s heavily entrenched with WordPress, I’ll also share anything else that I think is helpful or intriguing.

You must subscribe to the newsletter to see everything IWP is talking about.

The InfluenceWP Newsletter is Different

Do you ever get the feeling newsletters are mentioning their “buddies” over and over? Tired of sifting through sponsorships/ads? Ever had the impression that newsletters avoid certain topics out of fear of cancellation or retaliation? Yep…me too…so let’s be different.

  • No Affiliate Links: We have a non-affiliation policy to remain an unbiased, trusted resource.
  • No Ads: Our newsletter won’t seek sponsorships, which means less noise for subscribers and no potential for bias.
  • No Spam: You’ll get a weekly email with helpful content and timely notices (e.g., free giveaways, special product sales, etc.).
  • Not Bottom Line Driven: Everyone is treated equally, whether you’re a product creator just starting out or you are a well-established company.
  • 100% Product Creator Focused: We will showcase companies that are either developing products specifically for WordPress or providing solutions to WordPress site owners.
  • Refreshingly UNFILTERED: Since we are sponsor-free, we have the freedom to speak the truth, even if it means ruffling a few feathers.

InfluenceWP Updates

NEW Services for WordPress Product Creators

These services are and have been free for IWP partners. After all the great feedback I’ve received regarding how valuable these services are, I wanted to extend them to non-partners.

  • Product Reviews: Stop losing money when it’s easily preventable. Product Reviews help ensure your website contains the elements required to establish trust with customers and your product is as advertised and easy to implement for all skill levels.
  • Viral Giveaways: Product creators, let’s create buzz about your product! Giveaway Campaigns are excellent for engaging an audience and attracting new customers. Provide the prize. We do the rest!

NEW First Look Videos

These videos are our first look at products from our partners. We will experience them for the first time, just as a new customer would.

YouTube Companion Posts

Any videos we produce for our partners, such as First Looks and Extended Looks, are accompanied by posts that direct viewers back to their listings on our platform.

FREE Giveaways 🎉

InfluenceWP ran viral giveaways for the following partners. Want to do the same? Great! Please submit your giveaway using our simple form, and we will take care of the rest.

  • NeetoRecord is a Loom alternative for recording your screen and camera.
  • WPMissionControl provides daily visual and HTML scans of every page on your site — powered by your sitemap. Get alerts before broken pages or layout issues cost you business.
  • Administrator Toolkit provides WordPress security monitoring, admin oversight, and plugin management tools specifically designed for agencies managing multiple client sites.

Updates From Our Partners

ChangelogWP launches as a centralized hub for changelogs within the WordPress ecosystem. Users can subscribe to software listings and receive notifications in their inbox. If you are a vendor of premium solutions (plugins, themes, SaaS, hosting, etc.) and would like to list your changelogs, please contact the team, who will be happy to assist you.

NeetoRecord dropped some quality-of-life updates that I asked for. If you weren’t aware, NeetoRecord allows you to automatically create chapters using its AI. Now, those chapters are properly formatted, and you can copy them all in one go, so you can paste them to places like YouTube.

Coupon Affiliates for WooCommerce dropped a great article, debunking affiliate program myths. I particularly like Myth 3: “You Need Thousands of Affiliates to Succeed” and agree that it’s better to have quality over quantity regarding affiliates. Part of IWP’s mission is to fight against junk affiliate and fake deal websites.

ThemeSwitcher Pro dropped a significant release, featuring a one-click theme-switching integration for WooCommerce, including the addon framework to support additional one-click integrations for popular WordPress products.

WP Social Ninja (IWP Deal) released some major new features, including an Advanced WooCommerce Integration, Fluent Forms (IWP Deal) Integration, Judge.me Migration, and Enhanced Social Feeds.

FluentBoards (IWP Deal) got a serious upgrade, including Table View, Task and Subtask Reminders, REST API Documentation, and an Outgoing Webhook.

Meta Box (X Link) (IWP Deal) released a maintenance toolkit for custom fields and post types that allows you to remove the unused field(s) or change the field ID/post type slug to keep databases clean.

Bit Flows (X Link) (IWP Deal) v1.6.0 is live with 10 new GMail actions, 55 new triggers for Fluent Affiliate, WooCommerce, FormGent, WP User Frontend, and EasyCommerce.

Slim SEO (X Link) (IWP Deal) introduced ‘SEO Analyzer,’ a free browser extension for effortless SEO insights. We gave it a quick spin, and it does what it says on the tin.

WP Security Ninja (X Link) (IWP Deal) published a comprehensive and free guide, ‘WordPress Security Audit Guide 2025,’ giving you a step-by-step process to check your plugins, themes, logins, and server settings so you can resolve issues before hackers find them.

Other WordPressers Not to Be Overlooked

Benjamin Intal (X Link) announced a new (free) instant image optimizer and conversion plugin to optimize and convert your images instantly as you upload.

Amadeu Arderiu (X Link) announced a new (free) smart and customizable
search solution
plugin that transforms the way customers shop.

WPMozo (X Link) announced a new (free) WordPress block editor plugin with ~26 blocks, including Price List, Text Highlighter, Text Animator, Testimonial Slider, and more!

Michael B (X Link) shared a free code snippet to protect password reset forms in WordPress. With this small snippet, the WordPress password recovery form no longer reveals whether an email/username exists. It always shows the same on-screen message.

Corey Maass announced Post Calendar, a new (free) plugin for those who post often and on a schedule, allowing them to view their posts on a calendar.

Dave Grey (X Link) announced the release of Administrator Toolkit v2.6 (a plugin for advanced WordPress admin management), bringing with it an improved Geo IP lookup and new features like Session Manager and Import/Export for settings.

Tyche Software (X Link) announced new features for their Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce plugin, including ‘WhatsApp Reminders’ and ‘Klaviyo Double Opt-in.’

Breakdance (X Link) released version 2.5 of its website builder, and it’s packed with powerful tools to supercharge your web design workflow. This release brings a suite of innovative features that make building stunning, dynamic websites faster, more intuitive, and more engaging than ever.

Roozbeh Firoozmand (X Link) announced Clevera, which turns dull screen recordings into polished, narrated tutorials automatically.

Adam Warner (X Link) announced Airo Site Designer, which exited beta and is now available worldwide for all GoDaddy Managed Hosting for WordPress customers to help them build websites in minutes with AI.

Alan Fuller released a significant update for his free Active Users Monitor plugin, now giving admins the option to log user activity.

LinkCentral v1.4.7 (IWP Deal) is here with Full REST API support, one-click migration from ThirstyAffiliates and Pretty Links, and UI improvements across the board.

Brad Vincent (X Link) revived his free Admin Bookmarks plugin, and it just so happens I was looking for a solution just like this. Check it out if you constantly edit the same posts/pages – this saves you time by adding those posts to the admin menu and bar for quick access.

FluentAffiliate announced v1.1.0, which brings a brand-new affiliate creatives feature to make your affiliate program even more powerful. Now, you can upload and manage ready-to-use promotional assets such as banners, images, QR codes, or text directly inside your affiliate dashboard.

Conversion Bridge v1.10 (IWP Deal) is here with new integrations (Greyed Suite, HotJar, and Must-Have Cookie), weekly conversion summary emails, and a Plausible proxy to bypass ad blockers.

NeetoCal (IWP Deal) now offers client email verification with OTP (one-time password), which means fewer no-shows, reduced spam, and a more reliable scheduling experience.

Random Web News

Namecheap has been acquired by a private equity firm. I use Namecheap for a majority of my domains, so this caught my attention. Typically, when a PE firm gets hold of something, they are looking for a quick return on their investment, so the deal could mean some of the free features of Namecheap could come with a cost.

Cloudflare is my other domain host. I’ve been eager to switch all my domains to Cloudflare, and this news about Namecheap has ignited my motivation to complete the migration.
